about KORILLA
Korilla Boots draws its inspiration from the military boots once worn by U.S. soldiers.
Rather than using modern mass production methods, we craft our boots using the
traditional techniques employed for the U.S. military in the 1900s:
Goodyear Welt and Hand-Sewn Welt.
Though this process is slower, it ensures durability and allows for customization to match the preferences of
both the buyer and the wearer.
The brand name “Korilla” carries a special meaning.
When read in reverse, it becomes “alli r.o.k”, a combination of “alli” (meaning “over there”) and “R.O.K” (Republic of Korea).
True to its name, we aim to establish a unique boot-making culture from South Korea-one that tells diverse stories and leads the global scene in craftsmanship and creative expression.
